Wedding Packages

PLATINUM PACKAGE

This package is for the extremely busy bride who just does not have the time to do all of the research necessary to plan a wedding, nor has any ideas of which are the best vendors within her budget. This package is an addition to the services mentioned in the Diamond and Gold Packages.

Bill will sit down with the bride and find out exactly what her vision is for her wedding day. Most importantly, a budget will be developed and vendor meetings will be scheduled. Attendance at those meetings is included in this package as well as contract negotiations, final contract review and overseeing payments according to the payment schedule. If shopping assistance were needed, Bill would be available. This package also includes discussing how to compile a guest list, managing and tracking your guest list and responses on a spreadsheet, discussing hotel accommodations, transportation needs, lighting, ceremony programs and wedding accessories. This program also includes assembling and mailing of invitations, providing information on changing of names and obtaining the marriage license. We also return any rented items to industry professionals, discuss locations and menus for rehearsal dinner, visiting ceremony and reception sites to make sure everything is in check. Discussing and ordering Save the Date letters is included in this package.

Directing the rehearsal as well as attendance at the ceremony and reception are also included. Many behind the scenes duties would be handled. Since each bride has different wishes, a more detailed list will be developed during the first meeting.

GOLD PACKAGE

This package is the most requested. The Gold Package provides guidance while allowing the bride and groom the ability to experience the joys of wedding planning as well.

This package elaborates on the Diamond Package by meeting with the bride and discussing her dreams and expectations and then making a budget; then a list of wedding professionals would be created. This package also includes providing the bride with a calendar of To Do’s, helping pick out wedding stationary, giving guidance with items such as; ceremony programs, favors for guests, transportation, lighting and other wedding accessories.

DIAMOND PACKAGE

Many mothers-of-the bride as well as brides choose this package just to have some assistance and peace of mind on the wedding day and the rehearsal. After retaining our services, we will have some meetings (usually 2 but as many as 4) to exchange details, vendor information, expectations, etc. From that information, a timeline for wedding day (from sunrise to sunset!) would be developed.

We will make telephone calls to vendors days before the wedding to confirm all contracts, delivery times, location/address, give them a cell phone number for an emergency.

Other duties would include coordinating all of the ceremony responsibilities (officiate, music, soloist, rehearsal, pinning on boutonnières, checking in w/ bride, directing bridal party for pictures, handling unity candle, programs, gathering personal items, transferring personal items to reception, etc.) We will coordinate and confirm all of the reception (layout of room, set up of cake, card and head table, line up bridal party for announcements, coordination w/ photographer and DJ/Orchestra Leader, etc.)

We will attend to out-of-town guest and details such as confirming blocked rooms, maps, guest baskets, pre-wedding or post-wedding activities and parties. We will provide assistance with etiquette questions or any issues that arise during the planning process.

Plus coordinate with photographer and Orchestra Leader for announcements (entrance to room, cake cutting, first dance, bouquet and garter toss, etc.) We will gather guests’ cards and gifts and bring them to Bride & Groom’s room or vehicle as well as gather toasting glasses, cake knife set and any other fragile pieces and put them in their boxes & in a secure place.

Most importantly, we will be there to answer questions, attend to any emergencies or unexpected happenings during the wedding day, and provide moral support.

AFTER YOUR CONSULTATION AND DECIDING TO RETAIN OUR SERVICES

Once we have been notified that you would like to retain our services, a contract will be developed specifically outlining all of the duties that will be handled by The Wedding Guy. After reviewing the contract and signing it, a $400 retainer fee is required to hold your wedding date. The balance due will be spread out either monthly or quarterly over the number of months between the signing date and your wedding date. Cash and checks are accepted.
